THIS SUNDAY REHEARSAL REMINDERS & INFORMATION:
As always, the crew has a flexible schedule on Sundays until March 4th, and may come anytime between 10am and 4:30pm for any duration of time she/he would like to stay and work.

FOOD & DRINK REMINDER FOR SUNDAY REHEARSALS
- Please pack a water bottle for all practices. Please pack a snack for this Sunday's rehearsal. We will be providing a snack at Sunday rehearsals beginning this Sunday. See quick reference chart below.
- Please pack a lunch if you are staying later than 1pm for rehearsals or if you get hungry during rehearsals regardless of what time your rehearsal ends.
- Reminder: Beginning in late February as the length of rehearsals expand, we will provide the opportunity for students to purchase pizza. More information about pizza purchasing will come in the week preceding our offering it.
- Please note that there will be no food or drinks permitted in the theatre at any time. In addition, there is no eating or drinking in the atrium.

Our volunteer needs are in full swing! To put on a show of the calibre and size we produce each year, requires a village and then some, last year we had over 2000 prop, accessories, and costume pieces alone. INFORMATION ON SPONSORSHIPS & TICKETING
Dear Friend of the Arts,
The cast has been selected and the rehearsals are in full swing for our endearing and exciting production of James and the Giant Peach, Jr., which will take place in the Rosenberg Performing Arts Theatre, located at the Lower School! Almost 150 Mechina through eighth-grade students will participate in this performance both on stage and as members of the crew, not to mention more than 50 Davis Academy alumni who will be returning to school to work with students as part of our alumni mentor program.
We invite you to support our upcoming musical production and our theatre and fine arts programs in a special way. Your patronage allows us to maintain our artistic excellence and provides the professional expertise, artistic materials, and supplies necessary to produce an all-school Broadway-style, student-centered production as outstanding as James and the Giant Peach, Jr.
Like other independent schools of our caliber, we are pleased to offer you sponsorship opportunities, which include special benefits associated with the James and the Giant Peach, Jr. production:
Sponsor Benefits:
- Preselect premium seating for any of the three shows.
- Sunday, March 17 at 1:00 pm
- Sunday, March 17 at 7:00 pm
- Monday, March 18 at 6:30 pm
- Acknowledgment in the Playbill and Annual Donor Report
- Reserved parking at the Lower School
- Cost: $150 per ticket ($135 is tax deductible) - To be purchased online in advance of public ticket sales.
For the second year, we will have an online reservation process for Sponsor Seating, which will open on February 11th at 8:00 am and will close on February 26th at 8:00 am. Sponsor reservations are available in advance of public ticket sales, which will begin in the pre-dawn hours of February 28th. As we expect a high demand for tickets, please be aware that sponsor seating will not be available after sales are open to the general public.

SUNDAY REHEARSALS IN GENERAL RE-POST:
What do I need to know about Sunday rehearsals?
- Sunday rehearsals are tremendously fun and the whole cast and crew get to be together!! :)
- All pickup and drop off will be done through the carpool lobby at the lower school. Please form a single file line in our carpool lane for pick up.
- Please pack a water bottle for all practices. We will be providing a snack at Sunday rehearsals in February. For January, you are welcome to send a snack and/or lunch in. Beginning in late February we will provide the opportunity for students to purchase pizza. More information about pizza purchasing will come in the week preceding our offering it. Please note that there will be no food or drinks permitted in the theatre at any time. In addition, there is no eating or drinking in the atrium.
- As in years past, the MS Cast (LS cast and crew if staying longer than 2 hours) is allowed to bring a lunch beginning the first Sunday rehearsal as your rehearsals are longer.
- THE CREW may stay for whatever duration of Sunday rehearsal they would like to from January to late February Sunday rehearsals. Reminder: Crew may attend the first read through in December and ALL rehearsals the two weeks prior to the opening of the show plus the show performances (if on running crew) and strike. These dates are MARCH 4-MARCH 19. Tech week is mandatory for ALL crew members.
- Students will leave their backpacks, sweatshirts…etc in the atrium along the brick wall.
- Should you arrive after carpool concludes or need to pick up early, you will need to call the theatre sound booth phone (678-527-3328) to let us know you are at the front door. There will not always be someone near the booth phone, so the best plan is to please come and leave at the designated times. Please keep this at a minimum as we want to make the most out of our practice time.
- Please do not make food or drink deliveries during rehearsal times.
- The rehearsals are only for cast and crew. We ask that only parents, siblings, and friends who have been preassigned to volunteer come into the building during the rehearsal times.
- Sunday Rehearsal Reminder for LS Cast members
- Lower School cast members are asked to attend Sunday rehearsals, (they must attend at least 3 of the 5), on January 13, January 27, February 3, February 10 and February 24.
- Sundays March 3 and March 10 are mandatory for all cast and crew.
